Public Comments invited regarding a draft amendment of the cabinet order for the implementation of the Law for the Conservation of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora

The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) has drawn up a draft report of amendment of the cabinet order for the implementation of the Law for the Conservation of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora in order to ensure steady implementation of the result of CoP14 (The 14th meeting of the Conference of the Parties) to CITES(Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) in June 2007 in which amendments were made to the Appendices to the Convention. The MOE invites broad-based public commentary regarding this draft. Comments will be accepted from July 13, 2007 to August 11, 2007.
