Formulation of Environmental Reporting Guidelines FY2007 Version

The Ministry of the Environment has established "The Committee on Revision of Environmental Reporting Guidelines" to revise the Guidelines published in 2004, and has subsequently compiled "Environmental Reporting Guidelines FY2007 Version," reflecting the public comments submitted in April, 2007 accordingly.
The revised version includes such new items as "State of Environment-conscious Investment and Loans" and "State of Conservation of Biodiversity and Sustainable Use of Living Resources," which are to be described in the Environmental Reporting. These items are included on the basis of domestic and international trends of awareness toward corporate disclosure.
