Seminar on Wind Turbine Development and Nature Conservation to be held (Announcement)

The Ministry of the Environment will hold a Seminar on Wind Turbine Development and Nature Conservation to discuss the tasks and problems regarding the necessity of wind-generated power and nature conservation with the following background.

Wind-generated power is an excellent, fully domestic energy that can replace oil, and is an effective environmental measure, e.g. for the prevention of accelerating global warming. In recent years, however, there have been many concerns about the impact the construction of wind turbines has on wildlife and landscapes.
