Collecting proposals regarding 'Basic Policy for the Promotion of Contracts considering Reduction of Emissions of Greenhouse Gases and others by the State and Other Entities'

Under the Law concerning the Promotion of Contracts considering Reduction of Emissions of Greenhouse Gases and others by the State and Other Entities (the Green Contract Law), the state and other entities shall promote contracts considering reduction of emissions of green house gases and others (green contracts) in accordance with 'Basic Policy for the Promotion of Contracts considering Reduction of Emissions of Greenhouse Gases and others by the State and Other Entities' (the Basic Policy) when they conclude contracts.

The Basic Policy would be revised when it is necessary and the revision of the Basic Policy has been discussed every fiscal year.

Proposals for the Green Contract Law will be accepted at the Ministry of the Environment, Government of Japan, from June 3 to June 28, 2013.

Please note that all procedures related to this invitation for proposals will be conducted in Japanese. So the proposals and the reference materials need to be submitted in Japanese.
