Second Seminar in CSR Seminar Series "Integrating Biodiversity into Corporate Strategy" to Present the First "Ecosystem Conservation Guidelines" in Construction Industry

The importance of biodiversity and the level of its degradation caused by human activities have been made clear by the report of "Millennium Ecosystem Assessment." If the loss of ecosystems is not reversed, companies will be forced to change their strategies in order to maintain the level of their services.

The Global Information Centre will organize a series of seminars to better understand the relationship between familiar products, such as food and houses, and biodiversity. This series aims to clarify how our lives and activities are dependent on the function of the natural environment and to discuss how companies can play leading roles in achieving sustainable development through their business activities.

The second seminar of the series will focus on the construction industry and biodiversity.
