The 6th Meeting of the Vietnam-Japan Joint Study Group for Cooperation Activities on Environmental Management and Workshop on ETV program in Vietnam to be held on June 28-29, 2011 in Hanoi

The MOE of Japan will hold the above-mentioned meeting and workshop with the Institute of Science for Environmental Management, the Vietnam Environment Administration (ISEM-VEA), the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on the 28th and 29th of June, 2011 in Hanoi (venue: Vietnam Academy of Social Science, Hanoi, Vietnam).

The agenda of the meeting of the 6th Vietnam-Japan Joint Study Group are as follows:
(1) Research plan for operations improvement of Vietnamese Environment Protection Fund
(2) Japanese plan of joint policy research in FY 2011 and its intention and current progress situation
(3) Plan of joint workshop on enhancement of environmental management capacity in Vietnam

The agenda of the Workshop on Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) program in Vietnam are as follows:
(1) Guideline for ETV program in Vietnam
(2) Results of policy research on future Vietnamese ETV program by Japanese side
