The selection of Verification Management Organizations of the Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) Project of 2 target verification technology fields in FY 2011

The MOE has selected Verification Management Organizations of the Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) project of each target verification technology fields in FY 2011 as follows:

-"Japan Environmental Sanitation Center" as the Verification Management Organization of the field of Organic Wastewater Treatment Technologies for Small-Scale Establishments

-"The Japan Testing Center for Construction Materials" as the Verification Management Organization of the field of Heat-Island Mitigation Technologies to Reduce Air Conditioning and Other Loads by Using Building Envelope Systems

Prior to these selections, the MOE examined the applicant's organizations which were invited in the applications for Verification Management Organization of each target verification technology field from March 3-22, 2011.

The Verification Management Organization operates by contract with the MOE as follows:
-Establishment and operation of the working group which is composed of members with relevant knowledge
-Formulation of the Verification Tests Protocol
-Invitation and selection of Verification Organization
-Establishment and collection of fee of verification tests
-Conduct entrustment verification tests to Verification Organization
-Confirmation of report of the verification test results
