Public Comments for the Notice on the Result of the examination on the Noxious Liquid Substance based on the Law related to the Prevention of Marine Pollution and Maritime Disaster

The discharge of the noxious liquid substances by ocean-bound vessels has been regulated by the Law relating to the Prevention of Marine Pollution and Maritime Disaster, which corresponds to the Protocol of 1978 relating to the international convention for the prevention of pollution from ships (the Marpol 73/38 protocol). Then, we examined the Noxious Liquid Substance is not listed in "IBC Code" and "MEPC.2 Circular" for the reason of enabling to transport this substance in only domestic area. Therefore, this announcement will also be made to gather nationwide public opinion about the result of the examination from Monday, November 1 to Tuesday, November 30, 2010.
