Technical Training Programs

Many developing countries suffer shortages of knowledgeable administrators and engineers on environmental conservation. The Japanese government executes group training through JICA in collaboration with relevant authorities, local governments, etc.

The Ministry of the Environment executes 10 JICA group training courses on air quality management policy, monitoring for water environment, etc. Local governments also execute various training courses in the environmental field.

In addition, individual training programs are provided at the request of developing countries.
